The Power Curve, getting ahead and staying there

"There are three kinds of companies today: Those who make things happen...Those who watch things happen...Those who wondered what happened." - Peter Drucker

The power curve, unlike the Bell Curve, represents the rapid innovation implemented by the few early adopters who reap the rewards. They are making things happen.

Many times inertia becomes a business strategy or tactic. Either there is not enough data, implementation is seen as too difficult or risky, or the time is just not right. The downside is lost opportunity.

Now, imagine for a moment, a dozen or more fellow CEOs and business owners sharing their advice and perspectives on your challenges and opportunities.

Effective CEOs understand and value strategic solitude and deep thought. These CEOs constantly gather insight from new and unfiltered sources. You won’t find these CEOs on the tactical treadmill to nowhere. These CEOs are not lonely and isolated. They are not trapped in inertia thinking.

CEOs who join and become valuable members of peer advisory groups, connect with other CEOs and build deep bonds of trust. They lead powerfully. They get results faster and they are just a whole lot happier professionally and personally.

Collaboration among peers with no hidden agendas is powerful.

Vistage peer advisory groups help CEOs grow their businesses achieving significant success. In these groups, CEOs make better decisions faster with better results. Having a group of 12 or more CEOs and owners on your team can make all the difference.

How does being a part of a Vistage group make a difference?
